All prices are in GBP (British Pounds).
Any orders placed with James Taylor & Son will be converted from GBP (British Pounds) into your currency by your credit card company when they process the transaction. Please remember that currency rates change all the time and even the online currency conversion rate displayed here may differ to the rate when your transaction is processed by your credit card company.
By placing your order you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may request that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address below or emailing us.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. Your credit card payment will be deducted before the goods ordered are dispatched, and this will usually be within 24 hours of the goods being sent. Goods remain the property of James Taylor & Son until we have received payment in full. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability.
Confirmation of your order will be received by email within a short time after ordering. If you require an invoice for your records please contact us and we can send one out. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfil an order or a part of an order, or if there are any errors in a placed order we will advise you as soon as it is possible.
James Taylor & Son accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and debit cards and uses a secure payment system. Cheques can be mailed to us made payable to "James Taylor & Son" - please print out your order screen and send it with payments. Please allow at least seven working days for cheque clearance. We do not dispatch orders when payment is made by cheque, until we are able to verify full payment has been cleared to our account. Goods will be dispatched normally within 24 hours of cleared payments.
All credit card transactions are undertaken using SSL encryption. We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose on-line. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing on-line over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
The cost of postage and packaging is based on the number of pairs ordered and if the postage is UK, Europe or Rest of the World.

Note. All James Taylor & Son deliveries require a signature so please ensure that someone can sign for your delivery at the given delivery address. Business Post will not leave your parcel unsigned for.
If the items ordered are in stock we aim to dispatch within 24 hours (unless a weekend) for the goods to reach you in up to a week. If an item is not in stock we will contact you to advice this.
Any duties or taxes payable on purchase of James Taylor & Son products are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. If the purchaser refuses to pay the duties/tax it is then the responsibility of the purchaser to pay all shipping costs for the return of the goods.
If an item arrives damaged or is incorrect in any way, please return the item to us within 10 days and we will arrange for a complete refund less return carriage (unless damaged in transit) or a replacement according to your own wishes. The goods must be returned to James Taylor & Son within 10 days in the condition they were received. In the event of a complaint please contact us and the matter will be dealt with.
Shoes returned for exchange or refund must be received back fit for resale as new within 21 days of despatch. Any wear or tear will be charged accordingly.
